Business Performance Executive

The Business Performance Executive position is responsible for cultivating and building business relationships based on a list of prospects. The Business Performance Executive will generate sales in all programs and competencies, keep accurate records of contacts, continuous management of the ACT! database, and follow company guidelines and sales procedures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have prior training/learning industry experience. The successful candidate will have a strong business-to-business consultative selling approach targeted to high (executive) levels in an organization. Experience with a long sales cycle (6 to 18 months), and the ability to communicate intangibles (models, concepts) is preferred. Basic PC skills are required, ACT!, Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, and Word).
- 5+ years of consultative sales experience. Experience selling complex, intangible solutions to international companies, preferred.
- Senior executive presence, with appropriate networking abilities at the CEO, CLO, VP of Sales/Human Resources/Operations levels.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and facilitation skills.
- High energy and self-starter with ability to cold call perspective clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
- Location is flexible, as a large quantity of travel time will be required to client offices.
- Bachelor's degree in business, education, psychology, marketing, or related area. Master's degree is preferred, but not required.
Compensation is based on sales revenue generated annually, and escalates rapidly under a heavy incentive based program.
